KLEIN SERIES 5000, MULTIBEAM DIGITAL SIDE SCAN SONARS
The Series 5000 Side Scan Sonar System consists of a Towfish, a Transceiver Processor Unit (TPU), a PC Display and Control Unit for data viewing. Advanced technology in circuits and in transducers for the production of high quality images. Control Unit developed on PC platforms with software SonarPro dedicated to Klein system. The Klein 5000 consists of three system configurations for different applications:
System 5400: is a 4 beam side scan sonar ideal for offshore surveys and for high resolution images of seafloor; speed 8 Knots; frequency 455 KHz; maximum operating range 300 m.
System 5500: is a 5 beam side scan sonar ideal for hydro graphic applications requiring high resolution images of the seafloor; speed 10 Knots; frequency 455 KHz; maximum operating range 300 m.
System 5800: is a 8 beam side scan sonar for classification applications; high resolution; frequency 455 KHz; speed 15 Knots; maximum operating range 400 m.
KLEIN 3000, DUAL FREQUENCY SIDE SCAN SONAR
The new System 3000 presents the latest technology in digital side scan sonar imaging. The simultaneous dual frequency operation is based on a new transducer design as well as the high resolution circuitry developed for the Klein 5000 multi-beam focused sonar.
