Ageotec has expanded its range of Agencies by introducing two prestigious firms working in the field of wave and current radar systems: Radac and Helzel Wera.

The Radac systems are very accurate radar level gauges to measure waves, tides, storm surge in a single point.

The Wera systems provide reliable data of ocean surface currents as well as wave height and direction over long distances (> 200 km).

Lander3

Ageotec has realized “Lander”, an oceanographic multipurpose module, performed for CoNISMa and Bari University. Lander took place inside the project "Coralfish", focused on surveying the ecosystem present on the Ionio seabed.

The instruments installed on Lander are:

  • Acoustic Modem, for communication with vessel
  • Acoustic Doppler Current Meter, for current measurements
  • Altimeter, to measure the distance between the module and the seabed
  • Electronic Gyro and Inclinometer, to control the module position
  • Multiparametric Probe, to measure physical and chemical water parameters
  • Two underwater cameras with led light, for videos
